James Chapman and the Blue Moon are a Rock'n'Roll Country Blues three piece. Who perform a rowdy collection of stylised covers, upbeat originals and singalong classics in their typical fun and frenetic manner. Their mission is for audiences to enjoy shows as much as they enjoy playing together.

James Chapman has been writing songs for most his life, and has found himself with a collection of songs about love and hard times. A unique styling of country and blues music brings the latest release to life, with a humble emulation of Jonny Cash and Elvis Presly, and a studied foundation in the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.

Most of the songs were formed on the road with his Blue Moon, touring festivals and dive bars, playing rowdy shows deep into the night. With guidance from Simon Britcliffe at Old Jet Studios, the freneticism and liveliness was captured over a long, dark Winter weekend.

The bonds formed through months on the road, or locked away in the countryside, are starting to bear fruit. Expect much more to follow from this trio.
